Getting started
Is Plane Sweeper free to play?
Yes. Plane Sweeper is completely free to play in your browser and on iOS. We don't sell gameplay advantages, and we never will — rank is earned through skill, not spending. Where we show advertising, it's disclosed in our Privacy Policy and never blocks the game.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can open the game and start a match within seconds, no account required. An optional account only lets you save your progress and track your standing on the ranked ladder across devices.
How do I actually play it?
We wrote a full beginner's walkthrough and a ranked ladder guide. In short: you place your aircraft on a hidden 10×10 grid, then take turns (in real time against another player, or against AI) firing at coordinates to sink the enemy fleet first.

Which devices and browsers are supported?
Plane Sweeper runs in any modern desktop or mobile browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox — and there's a native iOS app for those who want it on the home screen. Because it's browser-first, there's nothing to download or install to start playing.
What are the minimum requirements?
Any device with a modern browser and a stable internet connection. The game is lightweight by design: matches are short, the client is small, and it works well even on older phones. See the game page for details.
Fair play & safety
Is the game pay-to-win?
No. This is a core principle for us. Cosmetic-only extras (if any) never touch game balance. Winning is supposed to feel earned.
How do I report a bug or a player?
Use the contact page to report bugs, abusive chat, or suspicious behavior. Include as much detail as you can (match ID, screenshot, timing) so we can act quickly.
Are there parental controls?
Plane Sweeper is a strategy game with no user-generated content beyond match chat. We comply with applicable children's privacy laws (see our Privacy Policy, including the COPPA section). Parents who want a child to avoid match chat can play the single-player practice mode, which has no other players.
Privacy & advertising
What data do you collect?
We collect only what's needed to run the game and improve it: basic usage analytics, match results, and (if you make an account) an email. We explain every category in plain language in our Privacy Policy.
Why do I see ads?
Ads help keep the game free. We use Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can learn how that works and how to manage your choices on our Privacy Policy page.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Email us from the address on your account via the contact page and we'll delete your personal data within the timeframe required by law.
